“For Colored Girls” finished third, making 20.1 million dollars at the box office this weekend. The film stars Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg and Loretta Devine and is based on the Ntozake Shange book and Broadway play “For Colored Girls who have Considered Suicide when the Rainbow is Enuf.”
Tyler Perry feels that each role was form-fitting for each actress involved.
“Megamind” the new Will Ferrell movie topped the box office with 44.7 million while “Due Date” finished second with 33.5 million. “Red” finished fourth and “Saw 3-D” rounded up the top five.
