The GBI is Investigating Atlanta Standardized Test Cheating
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is on their way to investigate CRCT cheating in the state of Georgia.
Nearly 70 percent of Atlanta schools have been red-flagged for possible cheating on standardized tests in 2009. It has been found that thousands of tests were altered, with answers being erased and changed.
Governor Perdue says the GBI will determine if any laws have been broken. Atlanta high schools could lose their accreditation, according to Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), following last month’s board vote to ouster the president.
SACS president, Mark Elgart explains the problems high school seniors could face if accreditation is lost in these schools.
