Who Said Money Doesn't Buy Happiness?

For years it has been said that money can’t buy happiness.  However, a new report says money actually CAN do just that…with a catch.Researchers report that people’s emotional well-being increases along with their income up to about $75,000. But the researchers also found that while earning substantially more than $75,000 can create a sense of achievement, that does not necessarily equate to day-to-day happiness.
The team of researchers reviewed surveys of 450,000 Americans conducted in 2008 and 2009 for the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index that included questions on people’s day-to-day happiness and their overall life satisfaction.  Other findings concluded that people are happier on weekends, but their deeper sense of well-being doesn’t change. Do you agree?
