Category 4 Hurricane Earl has battered tiny islands across the northeastern Caribbean and is now on its way to the U.S. East Coast
Earl has caused flooding in low-lying areas and home damages with its 135 mph wind on islands including Antigua, Anguilla, St. Kitts and St. Maarten. The first tourists were told to evacuate Wednesday from North Carolina vacation islands. The storm could make for a wet Labor Day weekend. More in this report from the Associated Press.
