The 1st place Atlanta Braves return to action tonight!

The second half of the 2010 Major League Baseball season gets underway tonight. 

Atlanta kicks off a four-game series with the Brewers tonight at Turner Field. 

The Braves enter the second half of the season with a four-game lead on the Mets for first place in the NL East. 

Braves catcher Brian McCann says it would really be nice to finish the season with a World Series title for retiring manager Bobby Cox.

Jair Jurrjens gets the start tonight the Braves. 

First-pitch is at 7:10 p.m.

The first place Braves strengthened their lineup yesterday they acquired shortstop Alex Gonzalez from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for  a pair of minor leaguers, shortstop Yunel Escobar and pitcher Jo-Jo Reyes.
