Apple's iPad Helps to Arrest Celebrity Burglar
Arrest Made In Will.I.Am Burglary
An arrest has been made in the case of Black Eyed Peas lead singer, Will.I.Am’s, burgled Bentley. Authorities tell TMZ.com that a 22-year-old man has turned himself in and they’re crediting the Black Eyed Peas frontman for the break in the case. A thief broke into Will.I.Am’s parked luxury car in the Hollywood Hills last month, making off with thousands of dollars of Will’s personal property. Among the stolen items was an Apple iPad that the musician used to pinpoint the burglar’s exact location — information he handed over to local police. The man in police custody has been linked to a series of vehicle break-ins in the Los Angeles area and is accused of stealing 25-thousand-dollars worth of property.
Will.I.Am used his iPad’s built-in tracking software to discover his iPad’s location — which pinpointed the burglar’s location — after the device was stolen from his car.
