In order to vote in the primary election on July 20 you must be registered by TODAY, June 21! Are you planning to vote in the election?
Make sure you check with the Secretary of State’s website to see if you are still properly registered. Advanced voting is already underway.
If you go to the Georgia Secretary of States website and click on the elections tab you can find out who your representatives are and where you need to go to vote. Here is the list of federal and statewide positions up for grabs in the primary election on July 20.

Everyone will vote for these positions but then depending on where you live you will vote on other positions.
Go to MVP My Voter Page and put in your name, county, and birthdate to find out if you are registered, where you vote on election day and who else you will vote for. Candidates for U.S. Representative, State Senator and Representative, Commission Chairman of your county and school board names will be listed here.
You will also see a sample ballot and find out more about voting by absentee ballot. Do yourself a favor and look at the sample ballot for your area so you will know who the candidates are then do some research and find out more about what they stand for.
