N.W.A. on Big Screen
N.W.A. was known as the “Most Dangerous Group” because of their unapologetic music.
Rap icon Ice Cube is attempting to make an appearence on the big screen, yet agian. The former N.W.A. rapper is hoping to bring the story of one of hip-hop’s most famous groups to the big screen. Cube recently revealed that he’s working with fellow rapper Dr. Dre and Eazy-E’s widow, Tomica Woods-Wright, to produce an N.W.A. movie, although a release date for the film has yet to be revealed.
According to AllHipHop.com, Ice Cube says, “I think that’s the ultimate when it comes to the tribute with the group and what the group meant to the world. Hopefully we will bring it to the big screen.”
Cube explains that working with Dre is always a great experience, adding that he’s looking forward to getting back in the studio with his long time friend.
Ice Cube will be dropping his ninth studio effort, “I Am the West,” on July 13th.
